"Finally, gear that doesn’t annoy me"
I ordered a jacket and some hiking pants from Eddie Bauer, i’m relieved because for once the sizing wasn’t a total guessing game. Both fit really well, they’re super comfortable to wear all day, and the pockets are actually useful instead of being tiny decorative nonsense. The jacket kept me warm without making me feel like I was wrapped in a sleeping bag, which is apparently too much to ask from some brands. Shipping was fine too, no drama there. Overall, happy with everything.

I ordered my usual size, but the jacket ended up fitting a bit larger than I thought it would, especially around the arms. The quality seems fine, I guess, and it’s not a bad jacket overall. I just wish the size chart had been a little more accurate because now I’m not totally sure if I should’ve sized down. Kind of annoying, but not a huge deal.

I grabbed this jacket when it was on sale i’m happy with it. For the price I paid, it feels like a solid deal. I mean, I haven’t had it forever or anything, but it seems worth every penny so far.

"Good delivery overall, just took a little longer"
I ordered a jacket from Eddie Bauer since my family has been buying from them for years, and it shipped out after a couple of days. The tracking was easy to follow and I got regular updates, so I wasn’t left wondering where the package was.
When it arrived, everything was in good shape and the jacket wasn’t damaged at all. It did take a bit longer than I expected, but it wasn’t a big issue. I’d still order from them again.

"Return process was frustrating"
Trying to exchange my order was way more of a hassle than it should’ve been. It took forever, and I barely got any updates about the return unless I chased them. When I did reach out, the responses made me feel like I was being talked down to, which just made the whole thing more annoying. I probably won’t be ordering again anytime soon.

“You will wait on hold to speak with someone from a country other than the US who barely speaks English and does not deviate from scripted responses. This person will give you vague answers, or multiple different, contradictory, answers depending on how many times you ask the same question. You will spend at least 45 minutes on the phone. The end result of the call with this "customer service" representative will be that nothing more is accomplished other than you gaining enlightening you as to how it feels to want to rip your own hair out at the same time as crawling through the phone and strangling someone.”
